small hobby kennel in Korea.
In Dae-gu city, located in south-eastern of
Korea.
When I was young boy, My parents,brother
and I have been with some dogs in my home as our
family companion.
I'd love
with our dogs but my favorite dog was Collie like common children.
I remember
that he is big sable dog with pure coat.
When I was univ. student, I've work at Dog
Training School near my house.
I've work in the school after my class every
day.
Dog trainer was my part time job at that time.
I've really enjoying
all kinds of games with my doggy friends.
One day, I could meet sheltie for the first
time in there.
I had never known that there being such a "small"collie before
:-))
Few days later, I have known that this small clever dog is "Shetland
Sheepdog".
Also I could know there is relationship between collie and
sheltie.
I heard that they have same ancestor.
AND....!!!
I had met Min-ji at my
univ. soccer team.
She was our team manager and I'm a soccer player at same
team.
Few years later, I've married to her :-))
We have same hobby and
taste..
We love dogs and soccer so much~!!!
Then I've graduate and became soccer coach
at primary school team.
And I could get our new home.
Then we have decide
to keep a sheltie in our new home.
So we've try to get useful
informations,books,video tapes and magazines about sheltie.
But it was so
hard to get these in Korea.
Because at that time, sheltie was not
popular breed in Korea.
Almost Korean people didn't know about
sheltie.
Also there is any sheltie breeder in here.
Even many of people
have call sheltie to "Small Collie":-))
So I've visit to some successful Japanese
sheltie breeder with my friend who can speak
Japanese well.
We could see some beautiful shelties in
Japan and could learn many of useful skills from kind Japanese breeders.
Also
we could Mrs.Otsuki, who is owner of Win Glory kennel.
Then she had became
mentor and great friend of mine.
Also she has introduce other successful
breeders for me, in Japan.
So we could make some friends in
there.
For the first time, my favorite was Sable
& White shelties.
When I have seen one sable dog for the first time, I
couldn't take off my sight from him
for a while.
I've said to my
friend...."Wow, he is really really beautiful~!!! hey, I was touched by that
dog's beautiful~~ Can I get such a nice sheltie someday??"
That sable dog was Ch.Amos...now he lives
with us in my house.:-))
I could get him from Mr.Suzuki who is owner of Star
Bell kennel, through Mrs.Otsuki.
I didn't know that Amos was '00 ASSA AOM
winner and BOB winner at some US specialty at
that time:-))
Then I could get his daughter
Ch.Jazz
And could get Momo(Ch.Accent's Trade Secret dau.),Tomo(Ch.Travenne's
Marin dau.) and Kaito(Ch.Macdega Evergreen son)...
These are our valuable foundations
now.
Then I could get a chance to bacame
co-owner of beautiful young blue girl "Pearl" with
my Korean friend.
This
blue girl is daughter of ASSA BOB winner Ch.Boomer.
She would be important
key in our AOAC program.
All of our shelties are so beautiful,sweet
and so~~smart.
When we look at them, we could find out "Eyes of Angel" in
their eyes.
They are sweet,beautiful and so lovely..... like
an Angel.
So they have became our family and nearst
friend soon...
And we've named our kennel to "Eyes of
Angel"
We are proud of our shelties and our kennel name.
Now we can enjoying conformation,agaility
and obidience with our shelties...
In our life with shelties, we can enjoy
much more happiness than before.
Though we are begineer breeder yet, we
have get some success in our breeding and show.
Our Amos has became the first
Best In Show winner in Korean dog show history as a sheltie.
And we could get
our first homebred champion dog soon..in our first breeding~!!
Atom who is by Ch.Amos and out of Tomo has
finished his Kor.championship with group 1st
before his 2nd birthday.
He is
one of our first litter.:-))
Also we could get some young promising
hopeful in selected breeding.
They would be our "Bright
Future"someday...
We'll do our best to breeding more
healthy,more smart and more beautiful shelties step
by step....
